Chennai-Jaffna air services to commence from November 01

Fri, Oct 18, 2019, 09:46 pm SL Time, ColomboPage News Desk, Sri Lanka. Oct 18, Colombo: The Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka has announced that with the opening of Jaffna International Airport yesterday, commercial flights between Jaffna and Chennai will commence on the 1st of November.
Director General of Civil Aviation Authority HMC Nimalsiri said an airline has come forward to operate commercial flights between Jaffna and Chennai. The airline has agreed to operate daily flights, he added.

Jaffna - Chennai commercial flights begin today

Nov 11, Colombo: The Jaffna International Airport will commence commercial flight operations from today (11).
Alliance Air, a wholly owned subsidiary of Air India will commence commercial flight operations from Jaffna International Airport to Chennai International Airport today.
