Annual feast of St. Anthony's Church in Katchatheevu celebrated strengthening goodwill between Sri Lanka and India

Mar 08, Colombo: The annual festival of St. Anthony’s Church in Sri Lanka’s Katchatheevu island was held Saturday successfully with about 10,000 Sri Lankan and Indian Catholic devotees attending the mass, Sri Lanka Navy Media unit said. This year’s feast marked the fourth of its kind conducted upon the completion of new church by the Sri Lanka Navy. As usual, Sri Lanka Navy assisted the Bishop of Jaffna Justin Gnanaprakasham and District Secretary-Jaffna in organizing this year’s feast.
