A slight change in prevailing weather condition is expected over the island except for Northern Province, the Department of Meteorology said yesterday.
“Showers or thundershowers will occur at a few places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central Provinces and in Galle, Matara and Kurunegala Districts after 2.00 p.m.
A few showers are likely in the eastern coastal areas during the night.
Mainly dry weather will prevail elsewhere,” the department said.
