Sri Lankan teen arrested for raping elderly German woman

May 03, Colombo: Sri Lanka Police have arrested an 18-year-old youth for allegedly raping a 79-year-old German woman in a hotel in Bandarawatta, Beruwela. The suspect had raped the elderly woman on the night of the April 29th. The woman who was ill at the time has been admitted to the Nagoda General Hospital in Kalutara.
